HYPERGIANT - OFFICE OF MACHINE INTELLIGENCE
Earth doesn’t have an O2 problem. It has a CO2 problem. And at Hypergiant Industries, solving the world’s biggest problems is our mission. That includes solving problems related to climate change, space exploration, and protecting the infrastructure that makes human life possible.
The Eos Bioreactor will help solve the CO2 problem by sequestering carbon more rapidly and more efficiently than trees - as each super-boosted algae bioreactor is 400 times more effective at capturing carbon than trees in the same unit area. And by using machine intelligence to constantly monitor and manage air flow, amount and type of light, available CO2, temperature, pH, biodensity, and harvest cycles, we maintain perfect conditions for maximum carbon sequestration.

Air intake (this can be open air, or could hook up to building exhaust) The air is then bubbled into main tank to diffuse into the water/algae.
Algae wants CO2 and light. The light can be from the sun, or in this case, artificial light. The algae and water are pumped through a series of tubes to maximize their exposure to light sources lining the inside of the Reactor.
As algae consumes CO2, it produces biomass that can be harvested and processed to create fuel, oils, nutrient-rich high-protein food sources, fertilizers, plastics, cosmetics and more.
Harvesting is a separate system that is completely controlled by the AI in order to have the perfect amount of algae to suck up the most CO2. Also we can swap out harvesters based on the intended use.
After the algae consumes 60-90% of the CO2 and other pollutants found in the intake air as vital nutrients, clean oxygen-rich air is released.
The A.I. optimizes growth of algae and CO2 consumption and harvests the algae without human intervention.

Algae is a single-celled organism that is capable of multiplying rapidly through the absorption of sunlight and carbon dioxide. It is considered one of nature’s most efficient machines. Algae can be grown nearly anywhere and it requires very few nutrients to survive. It is high in proteins, lipids, and starches, making it suitable for a variety of uses, including as food.
The Hypergiant Eos Bioreactor uses algae, specifically Chlorella Vulgaris which is capable of pulling CO2 from the atmosphere at a much higher rate than any other plant.
Algae is the central ingredient in our bioreactor. Without it, the Eos is just a bunch of tubes. The algae in the bioreactor consumes carbon dioxide. As algae consumes CO2, it produces biomass. This biomass can be harvested and processed to create fuel, oils, nutrient-rich high-protein food sources, fertilizers, plastics, cosmetics, and more.
We believe algae is a wildly under utilized natural resource that has untold of potential. In fact, algae has the potential to become the foundation of an infinitely renewable, hyperlocal, and decentralized supply chain. Algae will serve as a source of food, oxygen, and raw materials in future space exploration. For more information download our white paper.
